LGBTQ PRIDE 2010

THIS JUNE, LGBTQ (LESBIAN, GAY, BISEXUAL, TRANSGENDER, QUEER/QUESTIONING) PERSONS IN AMERICA CELEBRATE PRIDE MONTH. SO I WANTED TO KNOW: WHAT DOES PRIDE MEAN TODAY & HOW DOES IT RELATE TO THE EVER-EVOLVING LGBTQ COMMUNITY?

5 ¿SAID WHAT?:

  1. Pride starts with self-acceptance and should stop before arrogance. We need to be proud of who we are, what we are, what we've accomplished and the challenges we're meeting every day. With pride, we want society to acknowledge our part in it, as any other community.

  2. I think that pride involves who we are individually as gay men and collectively as the gay community. Our pride includes patience, tolerance and compassion for those outside our community.

  3. Hey Keeper! I hope everything is going good on your side of the world.

    Have a good one man.
