ReplyDeleteI got up to 7 mins of this video so I'm not sure if I missed something but I know the choice he should have made was to find a good editor.
ReplyDeleteCURIOUS - I DON'T THINK YOU CAN EDIT SOMETHING THAT IS THIS REAL.
ReplyDeleteHe made the selfless decision that was best for his son and that's a parent's primary obligation.
ReplyDeleteHe needs to figure out what he wants from life. He needs to get into a good stable relationship (homo or hetero) that is structured and can sustain and nurture kid(s). Then he can start a family. And he and his girlfriend needs to leave that child alone so he can be raised by one family in a loving household. Once the child is grown, if he wants to pursue his birth parents, that's up to him.
I'm told by parents that having a child is a life-changing experience. Children are also a tremendous challenge and a major source of anxiety and stress, financial obligations, etc. for parents whether they're ready for it or not.
Kids don't come with an owner's manual in their glove box and you can't look up how to care for them on the Internet or at the library. You have to be committed to their well being 100%.

ReplyDeleteIt was the wrong choice but a very tough decision and I do understand; it also seems that in the year since the decision has really changed him [he's probably more of an adult now that he would have been without facing this] I do hope there is a way for him to be in his sons life [we can't believe what the world says about us]
