SO I GOT TO WORK, GOT A CALL THIS MORNING FROM CO-WORKER'S MISTRESS & SHE TOLD ME TO LET HIM KNOW SHE WOULDN'T BE @ HER PLACE OF WORK TODAY IF HE TRIES TO REACH HER. NOW I DECIDED THAT TO TELL HER WHAT TYPE OF BB HE WANTS BECAUSE I DID ASK HIM & HE TOLD ME. NOW THINGS TOOK AN INTERESTING TURN AS SHE ASKED ME TO GET IT FOR HER {CRICKETS} I TOLD HER THAT I WOULD THINK ABOUT IT & LET HER KNOW. NOW THERE IS ONE CRUCIAL PIECE OF INFORMATION I DIDN'T MENTION IN MY PREVIOUS ENTRY, & THAT IS MY CO-WORKER IS ACTUALLY MY MANAGER...SO DO I TELL HER I WON'T DO IT & HAVE HER TELL HIM THAT OR SHOULD I DO IT & TRY TO PRETEND AS IF IT NEVER HAPPENED?
Tell gurlfriend that you are not going to be able to partake in any of her antics. Wish her Good Luck.
ReplyDeleteMy father owned his own business. My mother never worked for him, but she could get him to fire any of his employees that she didn't like. It wasn't that he was a pushover - she had good intuition and she was a good judge of character and Dad knew it.
ReplyDeleteDon't get involved in your boss' mess. When the mistress calls, patch her through to his voicemail if he's not available. The less you know, the better. Someday the boss could turn on you if he felt you knew too much and you could become a liability (like in a messy divorce). And if your boss isn't the owner of the company, senior management might not look too kindly on your getting drawn into something unseemly, especially if the company's reputation or business suffers.
I read your previous post and decided I wasn't going to respond since I figured you were going to do whatever you wanted to do, and I think you did. Without trying to be judgmental I could give you all the reasons why I think you should stay out of this but I think you already know them.
ReplyDeleteI would say what PDQ said and I would just add and ask that since you have already seen how he has screwed his own wife and his own family (and not in a good way,) why do you think that in the end when he has no use for you he will treat you any differently?
