¿HAS THE INTERNET MADE PORN BETTER OR WORST?

I remember growing up as a teenage boy LOVING porn! I couldn't wait for my family to go out and I stay behind, close up the house and just get my fill of some good ole (straight) porn. I was in heaven, pulling out those VHS Tapes and enjoying pleasuring myself. Fast forward to today, I find that I still have a love for porn, it is just that I don't care for it as much. I have to search harder to find a porno that is excites my one on one time. I know back then I was limited in what I got my hands, but I can't help but wonder, was porn better when it wasn't on the internet? So my question to you is, have the internet made porn

BETTER...

¿OR?

...WORST

DEAR U,

Dear U,

Over the years, I have fussed you for not being brave enough, funny enough, smart enough, talented enough, handsome enough, rich enough, admired enough, educated enough, out-going enough, loud enough, old enough, loving enough and loved enough.

I have demanded perfection from you and have found you wanting. The result of this obsession with perfection has been to make you terrified of failure and ridicule, angry at any and all obstacles, and finally, incapable of enjoying the bounty that was not only around you, but within you as well.

Well, all that's about to change. From now on, I'm going to make every effort to love and accept you as you are. But since bad habits die hard, I'll start with something easy. From now on, you're MAN enough.

Affectionately,
Me!

REFLECTION ON 30 YEARS OF HIV

The HIV/AIDS epidemic is 30 years old. Nearly 30 million people have died from complications of the disease and more than 33 million are currently living with it. There’s a better chance than ever of living a long, productive life despite infection. But there’s still no cure or vaccine. The top U.S. official on HIV/AIDS talked recently about the early days of the epidemic and the progress that’s been made since then.

On June 5, 1981, the first official cases of HIV/AIDS were reported in the United States among gay men in Los Angeles. The disease was around long before that. It’s just that no one knew what it was or what to call it. It was already taking a toll in Africa, where it was called slim disease. That’s because people lost so much weight before they died.

THIS IS HOW WE DO IT

"This Is How We Do It" is a 1995 song by American R&B singer Montell Jordan. This song, Jordan's first single, is representative of the new jack swing style popular at the time, featuring Jordan singing over an enhanced sample of Slick Rick's "Children's Story." "This is How We Do It" was number-one on the Billboard Hot 100 for seven weeks from April 15 to May 27, 1995, and was number one for seven weeks on the R&B singles chart[1]. Notably, this is the first number-one pop hit single in the U.S. to be released by Def Jam, ten years after the record label's launch.

The song has appeared on many dance compilations, including Jock Jams volume 2. When played on Top 40 radio, the song's rap bridge is often edited out. The song ranked #95 on VH1's 100 Greatest Songs of the 90s.

¡THE 2000th MILESTONE!

For 2,000 entries I sought to open the mind and heart for myself and others. I know that some things can seem repetitive but my message of you can be ANYTHING you want to be still stands. As I blog here daily, with LOVE as my mentor, I knew I could keep this going. So as we celebrate this milestone and look forward to the other 1,000th I say:

Walk side by side with love.
Sit down by the fire, feel and see love.
Make love your partner throughout life’s many challenges until you and love depart at death.
Always lie side by side with love.
Accept whomever you are.
Accept the world as it is given to you.
Accept a ‘rebirth’ by being here in the moment.
Let go of what’s not working as you know it can, and be the ‘new man or woman’.
Blow out all the cob webs that obstruct your journey to the new and real you.
Be friendly with your heart, and get to know what opening it can do to your life.
‘Supersize’ your love and compassion!

¡SO IT IS JUNE!
